Scope: Engineering rectification works, pre-opening readiness, HVAC system solutions, BMS-controlled damper installation, water supply system restoration with VFD integration, and AC installation.
Ibis & Adagio Doha is Qatar’s first dual-brand Ibis & Adagio property, strategically located on C-Ring Road between the vibrant districts of Al Sadd and Msheireb Downtown. With 306 keys, serviced apartments, multiple F&B outlets, a gym, swimming pool, meeting rooms, and a 100-guest function hall, the property required a high level of engineering readiness before opening to the public.
As a specialist MEP and HVAC engineering solutions provider in Qatar, Caltiq Trading, Contracting & Maintenance (CTCM) was appointed to execute the hotel’s pre-opening engineering works, resolve system defects, enhance building performance, and ensure that all mechanical and control systems were fully operational.

During pre-opening inspections, the lift lobby experienced severe condensation, creating humidity, fogging, moisture risks, and potential safety hazards.
Caltiq implemented a complete airflow correction strategy:
The condensation issue was completely resolved, stabilizing the humidity and ensuring long-term environmental control in a sensitive guest-circulation area.
A concealed water supply line had failed, resulting in unstable water pressure across multiple floors.
As part of pre-opening enhancement, Caltiq supplied and installed additional AC units in areas requiring extra cooling load.
