Scope: Preventive maintenance and servicing of air conditioning units, electrical systems, and plumbing infrastructure.

PROJECT OVERVIEW

Almas Water Factory, located in the New Industrial Area, operates in a production environment where stable cooling, reliable power, and uninterrupted water supply are essential. Efficient HVAC performance protects temperature-sensitive equipment, while robust electrical and plumbing systems ensure smooth production and compliance with operational standards.

Caltiq Trading, Contracting & Maintenance (CTCM) was selected to deliver a comprehensive Annual Preventive Maintenance Contract (AMC) for HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems, ensuring high reliability and minimal downtime across all facility zones.

SCOPE OF WORK

1. HVAC Preventive Maintenance

Caltiq carried out complete servicing of the factory’s AC systems, including:

Cleaning evaporator and condenser coils
Washing or replacing air filters
Checking refrigerant pressure and identifying leaks
Clearing condensate drains to prevent overflow
Inspecting blower motors and fan operation
Tightening electrical terminals and inspecting wiring
Restoring optimal airflow and temperature control

These services maintained cooling consistency throughout production and storage areas.

2. Electrical Preventive Maintenance

Caltiq ensured safe and stable electrical operation across the factory by performing:

Inspection of DBs and SMDBs
Breaker testing and replacing faulty units
Tightening loose cable terminals
Checking lighting circuits and replacing fixtures
Ensuring proper earthing and bonding
Troubleshooting electrical problems affecting machinery or AC systems

This reduced tripping incidents and improved electrical safety throughout the facility.

3. Plumbing Maintenance

To support hygiene and operational needs, Caltiq provided plumbing AMC services such as:

Inspection of water supply and distribution lines
Servicing water heaters and control valves
Cleaning blockages in drainage systems
Repairing minor leaks and faulty fittings
Maintaining stable water pressure throughout the facility

This ensured uninterrupted water availability for production, utilities, and staff areas.
